What
to do if…
1.
Upon your arrival in Africa, no one is there to meet you:
- Do
not Panic!!!
- Do not
leave the airport unless specifically
told by leadership
- Wait
for the team leader to come pick you up
- Watch
for someone holding a sign with your name on it
2. You miss you flight:
- Do
not Panic!!!
- Stay
in the airport
- The
airline is responsible for getting your bags to their final
destination.
- The
airline will put you on the next available flight or book you with
another carrier to ensure that you arrive at your final destination.
3. You have to stay over night
because of a flight problem:
- Do
not Panic!!!
- The
airline will pay for your food and lodging
4. Your luggage is lost:
- Do
not Panic!!!
- The
airlines will give you money for clothes
- If
your luggage is lost forever the airlines will reimburse you for all
contents and the luggage itself.
- One
out of every ten people, traveling to Africa loose their luggage
forever.
- Twice
in twenty years has one of our team members lost their luggage
forever
5. Airport personnel take your
passport:
- Do
not Panic!!!
- Do not
leave the airport or fly without your passport!!!
- It
is not
uncommon for airport personnel to take your passport for processing
- If
they do take your passport for processing, they will give it back when
you are boarding your next flight.
6. Your Carry-on is too big or
heavy:
- It
will be checked through.
7.
You simply can not
live with out something:
- Carry
it on the plane with you.
